Limited Spaces Remaining on Shoal Harbour Sanctuary Boat Tours

Guests looking at wldlife

For the third year, Friends of Shoal Harbour (FOSH) is offering guided boat tours of Shoal Harbour Migratory Bird Sanctuary.

Again this yer the response has been strong with only a limited number of spaces remaining.

Whether you have joined us on a previous tour, attended one of our other events, or simply have an interest in the sanctuary, these tours offer a unique opportunity to experience Shoal Harbour from the water.

FOSH Chair Bob Peart serves as the tour guide, sharing insights into the sanctuary’s history, purpose, ecology, and conservation challenges. Participants gain a deeper appreciation for one of the Saanich Peninsula’s lesser known protected areas, while viewing it from the water, a perspective few people ever experience.

Wildlife sightings are always a welcome bonus, but the focus is on understanding and appreciating the sanctuary itself.

Limited to just 11 guests, each tour offers plenty of opportunity to ask questions, engage with Bob, and enjoy a relaxed and informative experience on the water.

At the time of writing, spaces remain on each of the following trips:

Thursday June 25 200PM

Saturday August 22  200PM

Saturday September 19  130PM

Saturday September 23  200PM
